Producing and writing team, Adam Watts and Andy Dodd, hired Kaufman & Associates to design this home studio. The 1200 square foot facility is divided into a control room, live room, and a separate writing room. The control room is outfitted with Pro Tools HD6, a Neve 1073, Avalon VT-737, Manley Massive Passive, and the Neumann TLM 103 and U47 mics. Jay made extensive use of wood, brick and earth-toned fabrics and elegant lighting to provide a comfortable, warm space that exceeded their ambient and acoustical performance expectations.
Adam and Andy are known for their work with artists like Miley Cyrus, Jesse McCartney, Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson, Plain White T’s, Hey Violet, Sheryl Crow, and Switchfoot, as well as numerous television and feature film placements and commissions. As a team, they have contributed to over 50 million albums sold worldwide across mainstream and CCM industries.
