Studio E was designed to be the center piece of Musician’s Institute’s new post production department. It is a THX Certified 5.1 dubbing theater with an 8’ x 14.25’ microperf screen, 1080P DLP projection, 48 input D Control ICON console, Protools HD6, Final Cut, Dolby Lake Processors, and more.
Because this dubbing theater is meant as a teaching environment, Kaufman & Associates designed Studio E with a large producer’s desk as well as multiple seats in the back of the room to accommodate many students at one time. To enhance the teaching component of the room, the instructor can place multiple images on the screen simultaneously which include an overhead HD camera looking at the console, the Protools screen, and video sources.
