AFM LOCAL 47
BURBANK, CALIFORNIA
Rick Baptist, Vice President of AFM Local 47, brought Kaufman & Associates in to design the rehearsal spaces for their new offices located in Burbank. AFM 47 had been in their Hollywood location for more than 60 years, so predictably, many people were less than excited about the move. Such a large change can be hard.
However, the rehearsal spaces have been a real success, as all the musicians working in the rooms have been giving glowing reports as to the great sound in each of the 7 rehearsal rooms. Additionally, the isolation between the rooms is excellent, allowing single instrument practicing to take place adjacent to a big band without any issues.
